Acuity Scheduling Integration
Connect Acuity Scheduling so Izzy can check availability, book appointments, and create clients during phone calls.
Overview
When a caller asks to schedule an appointment, Izzy can check your Acuity Scheduling availability, offer open time slots, and book the appointment using your appointment types and settings — all during a single phone call.
The Acuity Scheduling integration is available on the Pro plan and above.
What syncs
AgentIzzy creates and manages the following in Acuity:
| Acuity Object | What Gets Synced |
|---|---|
| Client | Caller’s name, phone number, email (if provided) |
| Appointment | Date, time, appointment type, and service notes |
| Notes | Service requested and “Booked by AgentIzzy” tag |
If the caller already exists in Acuity (matched by email), AgentIzzy will use the existing client record.
How it works during a call
- Caller asks to schedule — “Can I book an appointment?” or “When are you available?”
- Izzy checks your Acuity calendar — finds available dates and time slots based on your real-time schedule
- Caller picks a time — Izzy presents 2-3 open slots and the caller chooses one
- Appointment confirmed — the booking appears in your Acuity dashboard with the caller’s details
You’ll see the new appointment in your Acuity dashboard within seconds.
Connecting Acuity Scheduling
- Go to Settings > Integrations in your AgentIzzy portal
- Click Connect Acuity
- Sign in with your Acuity account and authorize AgentIzzy
- Once connected, you’ll see a green “Connected” badge
AgentIzzy automatically detects your appointment types and calendars. Izzy will use your first appointment type by default. No additional configuration needed.
What AgentIzzy accesses
When you connect Acuity, AgentIzzy requests access to your full Acuity API (api-v1 scope), which includes:
- Appointment types — reads your available services
- Availability — checks open dates and times
- Appointments — creates bookings on your behalf
- Clients — creates and matches client records
- Calendars — reads your staff calendars
AgentIzzy does not access payment or billing information.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect at any time:
- From AgentIzzy: Go to Settings > Integrations and click Disconnect next to Acuity
- From Acuity: Go to your Acuity account settings and revoke AgentIzzy’s access
Disconnecting stops future syncing but does not delete any clients or appointments already created in Acuity.
Requirements
- An Acuity Scheduling account (any plan)
- AgentIzzy Pro or Enterprise plan
- OAuth authorization (no API keys needed — just sign in and approve)
Troubleshooting
Izzy isn’t offering to book appointments
- Check that Acuity shows “Connected” in Settings > Integrations
- Make sure you’re on a Pro or Enterprise plan
No available slots showing up
- Check that you have availability configured in your Acuity dashboard
- Make sure you have at least one active appointment type
Booking fails
- Verify that your Acuity account has at least one appointment type with availability set
- Check that your calendar has open slots in the next 2 weeks
Connection was lost
- Acuity tokens are long-lived but can be revoked. Go to Settings > Integrations, disconnect Acuity, and reconnect
