Text a Link

Send callers links to booking pages, directions, forms, and more — during the call.

Text a Link lets Izzy send callers a text message with a clickable link while they’re still on the phone. When a caller asks for directions, your booking page, a payment link, or a form — Izzy texts it to them instantly. No more spelling out URLs over the phone.

This feature is included with Pro and Enterprise plans.

  1. Go to Agent Settings > Text a Link in your portal
  2. Click Add Link
  3. For each link, provide:
    • Label — what Izzy calls it (e.g., “directions”, “booking page”, “new patient forms”)
    • URL — the full web address
    • Message — the text message sent with the link (e.g., “Here are directions to our office!”)
    • Description — helps Izzy know when to offer this link (e.g., “Google Maps link to the office”)
  4. Click Save

How it works

During a call, when a caller asks about something that matches one of your configured links, Izzy offers to text it to them. For example:

Caller: “How do I get to your office?” Izzy: “I can text you a link with directions right now. Would you like that?” Caller: “Yes please!” Izzy: “Done! I just sent it to your phone.”

The caller receives an SMS with your custom message and clickable link while still on the call.

Common use cases

  • Directions — Google Maps link to your location
  • Booking / appointments — Link to your online scheduling page
  • New patient / client forms — Download or fill out forms before their visit
  • Online payments — Link to your payment portal
  • Menu / services — Link to your service offerings or pricing page

Tips

  • Keep labels short and natural — Izzy uses them in conversation (e.g., “directions” not “Google Maps Navigation Link”)
  • Write descriptions that help Izzy understand when to offer the link
  • You can add up to 10 links per location
  • Links work with any URL — no special integration needed

Requirements

  • Pro or Enterprise plan required
  • Caller must be calling from a mobile phone to receive SMS
  • Standard SMS rates may apply to the caller
