Configure what information Izzy collects from potential customers.
How lead capture works
Izzy doesn’t use a rigid form. Instead, it naturally weaves questions into the conversation when it detects a caller is interested in your services. The result feels like a friendly chat, not an interrogation — but you still get all the info you need to follow up.
Configuring lead fields
Go to Settings → Lead Capture in your portal. You’ll see toggles for each piece of information Izzy can collect:
Always collected
- Name — first and last name (from conversation)
- Phone number — automatically captured from caller ID
Optional fields (toggle on/off)
- Email address — Izzy asks naturally: “What’s the best email to reach you at?”
- Unit preference / Service interest — what the caller is looking for (the label adapts to your business type)
Custom questions (up to 3)
Add custom questions tailored to your business. For example:
- “When do you need the unit?” (for storage)
- “What’s the square footage of your home?” (for HVAC)
- “What type of service do you need?” (for plumbing)
Izzy asks these naturally during conversation, not as a checklist. Custom questions are available on all plans.
Managing leads
Go to Dashboard → Leads to see all captured leads. Each lead shows:
- Caller name and phone number
- Any additional info collected (email, preferences, custom answers)
- Date and time of the call
- Link to the full call transcript and recording
Lead status workflow
Track each lead through your pipeline:
| Status | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| New | Teal | Just captured — hasn’t been contacted yet |
| Contacted | Blue | You’ve reached out to the lead |
| Follow-up | Amber | Needs another touchpoint |
| Converted | Green | Became a customer |
| Lost | Gray | Didn’t convert |
Click any lead to update its status. This is a simple CRM built right into your dashboard.
Exporting leads
Click Export CSV on the Leads page to download all your leads as a spreadsheet. Use this to import into your existing CRM, email marketing tool, or just for record-keeping.
