Add a "Call Me" and "Text Us" button to your website with one line of code.

What is the Website Widget?

The Website Widget adds a floating button to your website that lets visitors instantly connect with your AI phone agent. Visitors can choose “Call Me Now” (Izzy calls them) or “Text Us” (starts an AI-powered SMS conversation). It’s included with Pro and Enterprise plans.

Setting up the widget

  1. Go to Agent Settings > Website Widget in your portal
  2. Toggle Enable Widget on
  3. Choose which channels to offer: Call Me Now, Text Us, or both
  4. Customize the button color and labels to match your brand
  5. Copy the embed code and paste it into your website’s HTML

The embed code is a single <script> tag — no dependencies, no extra CSS. It works on any website.

How it works

Call Me Now

When a visitor enters their phone number and taps “Call Me Now”, Izzy calls them within seconds and handles the conversation using your business knowledge, FAQs, and services — just like an inbound call.

Text Us

When a visitor taps “Text Us” and enters their phone number, Izzy sends them an SMS greeting. The visitor can reply anytime and Izzy responds using your business knowledge. Conversations appear in your portal under Conversations.

Customization options

  • Primary color — matches your brand (hex color picker)
  • Button label — the text on the floating button (default: “Need Help?”)
  • Call Me label — text for the call option (default: “Call Me Now”)
  • Text Us label — text for the text option (default: “Text Us”)

Quiet hours

Text Us respects quiet hours (9 PM – 8 AM ET). If a visitor texts during quiet hours, they’ll receive a message that you’ll get back to them first thing in the morning.

SMS opt-out

Visitors can reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS. They can reply START to opt back in. AgentIzzy handles this automatically to stay compliant.

Conversations in your portal

All Text Us conversations appear in Conversations in your portal sidebar. You can see each thread with the full message history, timestamps, and the visitor’s phone number.

Requirements

  • Pro or Enterprise plan required
  • Your website must allow external scripts (most do)
  • Widget uses Shadow DOM for style isolation — it won’t affect your existing CSS
